Cathy Heaton, Director and Head Coach of ACE Models JHB North, leads this premier modelling and personal development academy in building confident young leaders. Under her guidance, the academy has earned New Franchise of the Year 2019, Franchise of the Year 2021 and 2023, and Cathy was named Director of the Year 2022.

ACE Models JHB North is owned by Cathy Heaton who comes with 31 years of experience in the industry. We currently have 4 weekly classes and monthly Adult Workshops. We won New Franchise of the Year and Social Media Award at the 2019 National ACE Models Conference.

With decades of experience in the modelling, pageantry, beauty, media, makeup artistry, and photography, Cathy is an award-winning makeup artist, published photographer (two best-selling pregnancy/baby journals), and successful pageant coach whose mentees have won national and international titles. She holds prestigious honours: 2nd Princess Mrs South Africa 2015, Mrs South Africa Classique 2024, and 2nd Princess Mrs Globe Classique 2024. Her qualifications include a BA in Communications, Professional Makeup Diploma, Social Media Consulting, and Life Coaching Certification. Passions include modelling, pageantry, marketing, styling, networking, interview strategies, brand building, sponsorships, and pageant campaigns. Cathy empowers women via monthly workshops and weekly youth classes, fostering resilience, poise, and purpose.

Cathy Heaton has 31 years of beauty pageant, modeling, deportment, beauty, makeup, photography and mentorship experience. After entering her first pageant at the age of 12 to boost her confidence she was hooked on the spotlight and eventually saw her winning the title of 2nd Princess in the Mrs South Africa competition! Cathy is an award winning makeup artist and published photographer with two books available in leading books stores nationwide. She is also a successful pageant mentor who believes in building confidence in everyone she works with. Cathy is a mother of two teenage boys for whom she sets the example of an excellent work ethic, honesty and integrity. She believes in being kind before anything else and her mottos in life are.
