What is Face of ACE?

Face of ACE 2026 is a national online photographic competition designed to unite all ACE franchises under one creative, high-standard initiative.

The vision is to create a consistent, editorial-quality platform where ACE models are not only showcased, but positioned as industry-ready talent 

Whether you’re just starting out or already developing your modelling portfolio, Face of ACE is designed to help you grow, challenge yourself, and be recognised as standout ACE talent.

Face of ACE Terms & Conditions

Eligibility & Entry

  • Entrants must be registered models with one of the official ACE Models International franchises.
  • Entrants must meet the age and category requirements for their division.
  • Only one entry per model is permitted, unless otherwise stated.
  • All information submitted must be accurate and truthful.
  • Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
  • The entry fee is non-refundable.

Judging & Selection

  • Judges’ decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • Judging criteria may include overall presentation, creativity, professionalism, brand alignment, and participation in official challenges where applicable.
  • ACE Models International reserves the right to move entrants between categories if deemed necessary.

Social Media

  • Where applicable, entrants are encouraged to participate in official social media challenges as outlined by ACE Models International.
  • All challenge guidelines, posting instructions, and tagging requirements must be followed.
  • Any form of engagement manipulation, including purchased followers or fake accounts, may result in disqualification.

Winner Obligations

  • If selected as a winner, attendance at the official winners’ photoshoot on 27 June is compulsory.
  • Winners must be available for required shoots, appearances, campaigns, and promotional activities linked to the title.
  • Failure to attend required events may result in forfeiture of the title.
  • Titles are awarded for a specified term and are non-transferable.

Brand Representation

  • Finalists and winners agree to represent ACE Models International in a professional, positive, and respectful manner at all times.
  • Any conduct deemed harmful to the ACE brand may result in disqualification or removal of the title.
  • ACE Models International reserves the right to withdraw a title if brand values are not upheld.

Media & Usage Rights

  • By entering, entrants grant ACE Models International permission to use submitted images, videos, and content for marketing, promotional, and social media purposes.
  • Content may be used locally and internationally, across digital and print platforms, without additional compensation.

Minors

  • For entrants under the age of 18, written consent from a parent or legal guardian is required.
  • A parent or guardian is responsible for ensuring availability and attendance at required events.

General

  • ACE Models International reserves the right to amend competition details, dates, or requirements if necessary.
  • ACE Models International is not responsible for technical issues, lost entries, or social media platform errors.
  • Travel and accommodation costs are the responsibility of the entrant unless otherwise stated.

What You’ll Need to Enter

Each entry includes two professional editorial photographs:

  • Image 1

Beauty Editorial Image

A clean, close-up portrait that highlights your facial features and natural expression. Think simple styling and strong editorial presence.

  • Image 2

Full-Length Editorial Image

A full-body editorial shot that showcases posture, posing, and overall presence. This image should reflect confidence and fashion-forward style.

Age Divisions

Face of ACE welcomes entries across multiple age categories to celebrate talent at every stage.

How to Enter

Entering Face of ACE is simple. Complete your entry online, upload your editorial images, and submit your entry through the official ACE platform.

All entries are reviewed and approved through your ACE franchise to ensure professional standards are maintained.

  • Entry fee: R450 per model

What Happens After You Enter?

Your Face of ACE Journey

Entering is just the beginning. Discover how finalists are selected, how winners are chosen, and what exciting opportunities await throughout the Face of ACE competition.

After the entry phase, all models are invited to participate in a sponsored social media challenge — an opportunity to showcase creativity and personality.

Participants will:

  • Create one unique reel or editorial-style photo
  • Feature or creatively reference the sponsor
  • Post on their personal social media platforms
  • Tag their ACE Franchise and @acemodelsintl

Models without personal social media may submit their content via their ACE Franchise page.

A Top 10 per age division is selected following the social media challenge. Finalists represent the strongest editorial and brand-aligned talent nationally and are featured across ACE Models International platforms.
Face of ACE 2026.

Finalists compete in the Public Choice Award, hosted on the ACE Models International Instagram platform. Likes count as votes, and only followers of ACE Models International are included in the final tally.

Winners are selected by an independent panel that includes ACE affiliated agencies.

Judging consists of:

  • Editorial strength
  • Presence and confidence
  • Potential and market suitability
  • Alignment with the ACE Models International brand

Winner prize package includes:

  • A professional photoshoot with SJ van Zyl
  • R2,000 travel contribution
  • Product prizes
  • Crown, sash, and badge
  • National recognition and editorial exposure
  • Brand ambassador opportunities and international marketing exposure
  • Potential signing opportunities with affiliated agencies

(All additional travel and accommodation expenses remain the responsibility of the winner.)

The official winners’ photoshoot takes place on 27 June in Johannesburg and includes a professional makeup artist, hairstylist, and styled wardrobe direction to ensure high-end, campaign-ready imagery.
